Diagnosis
A differential diagnosis between probable DLB and Alzheimer’s disease (AD)
According to post-mortem data, DLB occurs at a higher rate than is clinically diagnosed. [1]
Now DaTSCAN can provide a clear view of the nigro-striatal dopaminergic neurons to help
achieve an early and accurate differentiation of probable DLB from Alzheimer’s disease.[2]
